The TOP Outdoor Ball is a tournament-standard choice that's been available almost as long as pickleball has been around. They have a tough plastic surface with plenty of holes to allow for quick flight without being too affected by wind. This ball has a seamless design, making it very difficult to go out of round even after many games of use. The slight indentation near the middle is created by a machine during manufacturing and comes from the mold - it is only a light impression, not an actual seam. These balls come in several different, bright colors so you can pick the type that will stand out best on your court.

Not sure what it is but these are definitely a cut above the basic pickleballs we started out with. They are, however, a bit light when the wind picks up.
